Whitelabels and networks

The tag on a whitelabel's site

The whitelabel's site uses the same tracking tag as yours; its domain tells HitCTRL which whitelabel a visit belongs to.

How it works

  1. The partner puts the same tracking tag as your site on every page of theirs. There is no link or Partner ID to fill in.
  2. When a visitor opens a page, the tag reports the visit; HitCTRL sees the page's domain, finds the whitelabel, and records the hit for its partner on its offer.
  3. The whitelabel's page in Partners › Whitelabels shows each domain's hits live, so you see the tag works.

Good to know

  • Add every domain the site uses to the whitelabel; visits on a domain that is not listed do not count for it.
  • A paused whitelabel's domains count nothing.
