Set up your program in 8 steps

What it is

On Home, the card Get your program ready lists eight steps. Each one ticks itself when the real thing has happened, so the card always tells you what is still missing.

The eight steps

1. Create your first offer. An offer is what partners promote, for example a product or a membership. See Offers.
2. Add a landing page. The page on your site where a partner's link sends visitors. See Landing pages.
3. Upload a creative. A banner, text link or video partners can use. See Creatives.
4. Add a partner. By hand, or let partners sign up on your sign-up page. See Your first partner.
5. Invite a team member. Give each person a role. See Team and roles.
6. Upload your logo. Your portal, emails and sign-up page wear your brand. See Branding.
7. Install tracking: first hit recorded. Put the tracking tag on your site; the step ticks when the first visit arrives. See The tracking tag.
8. Send a first conversion from your server. Report a sale; the step ticks when it is recorded. See Your first sale.

Where to set it up

Each step opens the page where you do it. The same pages are in Settings, which shows a bar with what is still to set up.

Good to know

• You can do the steps in any order. Partners can already sign up before tracking is installed, but nothing counts until it is.
• The card stays on Home until every step is done.
