Payment adjustments
Pay a partner a little more or less this time, for example for fees, without changing their balance.
What it is
An adjustment changes one payment in a settlement: for example minus 2.50 for a bank fee, or plus 10 to round up. The partner's open balance does not change.
How to set it
- Open the settlement in Money › Settlements.
- On the payment, choose Set adjustment.
- Enter the amount: negative takes from the payment, positive adds to it, 0 removes the adjustment.
The payment then shows its amount incl. adjustment.
Adjustment or bonus?
- Adjustment: only this payment changes; the balance stays.
- Bonus: the balance changes, so it is paid in the next run. See Bonuses.
