Coupons

What it is

A coupon is a code a partner's audience types at checkout, such as JANE10. A sale with that code counts for the partner on the offer, ahead of any hit, even if the buyer never clicked their link.

For the team

1. Offers › Coupons › Add coupon: the partner, the offer and the code. Spaces are removed and letters capitalised; at least 2 characters, unique in your workspace.
2. Your server sends the code with the sale (couponCodes). See Send a conversion.
3. Deactivate a coupon to pause it, or Remove it: sales with it stop counting for the partner; past ones stay.

For partners

Your codes are on your Coupons page. Share them; sales made with them count for you. No codes yet? Ask your partner manager.

Good to know

• An unknown or inactive code in a sale is refused with unknown_coupon, and shows in Conversions › Failed.
