Goals: what you and partners earn

Each goal is a conversion type the offer pays for, with its revenue, its payout, how often it may count and an optional hold.

What it is

On an offer's Revenue & payouts tab, each goal is a conversion type the offer pays for, such as Sale or Registration. A conversion of a type that is not a goal of the offer is refused (The offer does not pay for this conversion type).

What each goal holds

  • Revenue: what you earn per conversion: a fixed amount, a percent of the amount your server sends, or none.
  • Payout: what the partner earns per conversion: fixed, percent or none. This is the default; tiers, partners and payout groups can get their own. See Personal payouts and payout groups.
  • Recurrence: how many conversions of this type one hit may bring: once, a limited number, or unlimited.
  • Hold before approval: new conversions wait this many hours, then move to the status you pick (for example approved).

Payout groups

A payout group prices the conversions that match all of its conditions; the first matching group wins. Besides the country, geo tier, device, operating system and AdvS1–5, a group can look at the sale's coupon, the conversion number (the visitor's 1st, 2nd, 3rd and later conversion of the goal), the merchant's customer ID, the visitor's language and the partner's sub IDs 1–5.

Good to know

  • A percent payout needs the sale amount; without it the conversion is refused (amount_required).
  • Amounts are kept exact: 25% of 9.99 is 2.4975, not rounded.
  • Changes apply to new conversions; past ones keep their price. Every change is in the pricing history.
