Links and sub IDs
Your tracking link opens the landing page with your ID in it; sub IDs tell you which ad or page brought each sale.
A tracking link
Get link on an offer builds your link. It is the landing page's address with:
linkId: which landing page (and so which offer);sourceId: your Partner ID;affS1…affS5: your sub IDs, if you add any;- custom parameters you add, passed through to the page.
linkId and sourceId are added for you and cannot be changed.
Any page
Pick Any page… in the landing page list and paste any page of the site: the link is that page with your parameters added, and it counts like the offer's first landing page. The page needs the tracking tag. Reports can group by Page to show which pages bring sales.
QR code
QR code beside Copy link shows your link as a QR code, for print, streams and screens, and downloads it as PNG or SVG. It follows the link as you change the page or sub IDs.
Sub IDs
Up to five sub IDs, for example the ad, the campaign or the page where you put the link. They show in your reports, hits, conversions and postbacks, so you see which one brought each sale. Add them one by one; the link updates as you type.
Presets
Save sub IDs and custom parameters as a preset to reuse them on other offers.
For the team
Every offer has Get link for your team too: a link without a partner. Its hits and sales are the workspace's own, with no partner and no payout.
Good to know
- A copied link only counts through the offer's landing pages; a link pasted on a whitelabel's site loses its sub IDs there.
