Personal payouts and payout groups
Pay one partner, or sales from some countries or devices, differently from the offer's default; here is which rule wins.
The four ways to set a payout
On an offer's Revenue & payouts tab, each goal has a default payout. On top of it:
- Payout per tier: what each tier earns.
- Partner-specific payout: what one partner earns.
- Payout groups: other revenue and payouts for sales that match a targeting (country, geo tier, device, operating system, or an advS value your server sends). All conditions of a group have to match.
Which one wins
For each sale, HitCTRL looks in this order and takes the first that applies:
- The first matching payout group. Groups are checked from the top; move them up or down to change the order. Inside the group, a partner-specific payout set for that group wins over the group's own rate.
- The partner's own payout (outside any group), when no group matches.
- The partner's tier payout.
- The goal's default payout.
Revenue (what you earn) works the same way: the first matching group, else the goal.
Good to know
- Payout groups can also price in another currency, for partners paid in it.
- Every change of a payout is kept in the offer's pricing history.
- Sales by your team's own links (the house partner) earn no payout.
