Import partners
Add new partners and update existing ones from a CSV file, checked before anything is saved.
How it works
- Partners › Import CSV.
- Upload: drop a CSV file. Its columns are the same as the partner export; download the template to start.
- Check: HitCTRL reads every row and shows new partners, updates and rows with problems (with the row number and what is wrong).
- Import: save the good rows; rows with problems are skipped.
Which partner a row updates
A row updates the partner with the same external ID from the same source; otherwise the one with the same Partner ID; otherwise it adds a new partner.
Good to know
- There is a limit of rows per file, shown on the upload step.
- Countries are written as their two-letter codes (DE, FR, US); an unknown code is a row with a problem, so wrong data never gets in.
