Custom domains

Open your dashboard, portal and sign-up page on your own address, such as dashboard.yourbrand.com.

How it works

  1. Settings › Domains › Add domain: a subdomain you own, such as dashboard.yourbrand.com (without https:// and without a path).
  2. At your DNS provider, add a CNAME record pointing that subdomain to the target shown on the page.
  3. Press Check DNS again until it says Verified. DNS changes can take a while.
  4. Make primary the domain links and emails should use.

The secure certificate (https) is made for the domain by itself.

Good to know

  • Every workspace also keeps its HitCTRL address.
  • Removing a domain stops it opening your workspace.
  • Your domain points only at your dashboard and portal; tracking uses HitCTRL's own address.
